Adriana Johanna Haanen was born in Oosterhout (The Netherlands)
in 1814, she died in Oosterbeek in 1895. She had painting instructions
from her father, Casparis Haanen (1778 - 1849).
Adriana Haanen lived and worked in Amsterdam and after 1864
she moved to Oosterbeek. Painter of still lives with flowers and
fruit, she also made still lives with dead game. Member of the Royal Art
Institute in Amsterdam since 1845.
